ISOLA course at JACO,
Costa Rica, September 2011

A training course on ISOLA was organized by Dr.
Ronnie Quintero of the Volcanological and Seismological
Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI-UNA), co-financed by IASPEI. The
one week course (September 3 to 9, 2011) was held at Jaco,
Puntarenas and was attended by fifteen participants from
eight countries of Latin America. The course included
theory of moment tensor inversion and practical use of
ISOLA for single and multiple point sources. Participants
applied the code to their datasets and presented the
derived results.
